Week 14 – Fires everywhere in Colorado

Today we were preempted by the fire coverage here in Colorado.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those and their families who have been evacuated, lost their homes, or have lost family members.  It’s very hard to not be able to do anything but sit and watch the destruction.  346 homes were lost yesterday near Colorado Springs, 28 near Estes Park and more in the fire that has consumed near 90 acres in northern Colorado.

We hope and pray for rain and an end to the destruction.  It’s a rough time here for all of our friends, families and neighbors that are going through this trauma.

This week we were going to switch out the cool weather plants in our pots for hot weather plants.  I’m sure Rob is doing this task as I write this.  Lots to do before the plants we were going to plant die in their pots.

Next week I’ll show what progress was made in changing out those pots.  In the meantime we’ll keep our eyes and hearts watching over our neighbors, friends and families.

Not so much fun watching all this going on here in Colorado this week.
