Week 26 – Gardening in the shade

t took a while but the video segment from last week has finally been posted so today I’m doing two articles.

Last week they filmed where we have never worked in the garden before and that is the shade garden on the west side of the house. There’s not much work to do in the shade garden because it sort of takes care of itself

The background photo for this blog page is the shade garden.  It’s really a very cool place that is perfect for a garden.  It’s an old house foundation or root cellar or something.  Rob found it while they were digging around putting in some new garden and hit some brick and kept digging and digging and found this perfect little spot.

Check out the segment and see what plants are in the shade at:  http://www.9news.com/rss/story.aspx?storyid=353893
